Workshop Leader and Publicity Designer, LaNYT Theatre – deadlines 10 & 20 October

LaNYT Theatre aims to employ theatre and performing arts as means to empower individuals and inspire positive changes in society. They work with communities in creating new performances that address human and social development issues. 

The company is now embarking on a new project entitled ‘Dear Heart’ funded by Heart Research UK and a SUBWAY® Healthy Heart Grant. The project comprises three series of 10 theatre and performing arts workshops, leading up to a performance at the end of each series. The project aims to engage young adults (approximately 18-30 years old) in creative activities that promote healthy heart and lifestyle.

Workshop Leader – deadline 10 October
The workshop leader will be involved in the preparation and delivery of the workshops. The post holder will work with the project manager and cardiac consultants in preparing the ‘Dear Heart’ Educational Theatre Pack (during November 2012- January 2013) and will be responsible for delivering the weekly creative workshops in Cambridge between February-July 2013. This is a part-time post of 70 hours with the fee of £12.50 per hour.

Publicity Designer – deadline 20 October
The publicity designer will be responsible for the design and development of project publicity materials. The fee for this post is £120.00.
