ArtRefuge Committee Administrator, Art Refuge, South East – deadline 31 January

ArtRefuge is a group researching and organising arts projects involving refugees and asylum seekers in Portsmouth. It aims to reduce the social isolation of these groups, increase their emotional wellbeing and aid their integration into the community by developing and organising innovative arts projects.

ArtRefuge is looking for an administrator for its Steering Committee.
This is an unpaid post but travel costs and other agreed expenses can be covered.

National Alliance for Arts Health and Wellbeing – a charter for arts and health

Over the past year, regional organisations from across the country have been working together to establish a new National Alliance for arts, health and wellbeing. As part of this process, a series of events are taking place across England to develop a Charter that will set out the mutual values for those working in arts, health and wellbeing and embody the founding principles for a National Alliance.

Freelance contract one year in the first instance £8,640, 20 hours per week (Pro rata £16,200 FT equivalent)

This is a combined role and will give an opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience of office based duties, collection management, and also to access hands-on experience and training in arts workshop delivery.

Royal Opera House Bridge Programme Managers, Royal Opera House – deadline 23 November

The Royal Opera House(ROH) is part of a new network of ‘Bridge’ Organisations announced by the Arts Council, which will provide a bridge between the arts and education sectors, and support the goal of enabling every child and young person to have the opportunity to experience the richness of the arts. ROH has been asked to lead the Bridge programme in areas of the East and South East regions – stretching from Bedfordshire to north Kent - from April 2012.

Going Public – how to make successful applications to run public arts projects, Portsmouth - 30 November, 7 and 14 December
