Submissions invited by Outside In for regional and national exhibitions
Outside In aims to provide a platform for artists who find it difficult to access the art world either because of mental health issues, disability, health, social circumstance or because their work does not conform to what is normally considered as art.
Exhibition at Café Gallery Project, Southwark
Artists meeting the Outside In criteria living within Greater London are invited to submit five pieces of work to be considered for inclusion in an exhibition at Cafe Gallery Project (CGP) to take place between 15 August - 9 September 2012, to be known as Outside In: London. This will coincide with the Paralympics (29 August – 9 September 2012).
The closing date for applications is 26 May 2012. A panel of five selectors will then choose eight artists from the online submissions who will be visited at their studios. Once these have taken place, a decision will be made on the five artists who will be exhibiting their work at Outside In: London. It is proposed that the work of all the shortlisted artists be screened during the exhibition on a monitor.
Exhibition at Pallant House Gallery, West Sussex (National)

The closing date for applications is 20 July 2012.
