Public health services non mandatory contracts and guidance

This non-mandatory contract is designed for use by local authorities in commissioning services to meet their new public health functions.

It is intended to be adaptable for use for a broad range of public health services and delivery models. Although the contract is non-mandatory it provides a robust framework to hold providers to account for the delivery of high quality public health funded services to achieve improved health outcomes.

These documents are designed for use by local authorities; in particular directors of public health, commissioners and procurement specialists but should also be of interest to providers of public health services.
