Research into literature, nature and wellbeing

Cultures of Nature and Wellbeing is a new 2-year AHRC funded research project exploring links between literature, health and environmentalism over the last century. It will look at current research into nature and wellbeing and the role of the arts and humanities in developing this relationship.

The research will include a series of seminars and publications. Its aim is to inform research and policymaking at a moment when human-nature relations are of increasingly urgent local, national and global significance, both in current wellbeing initiatives, and manifold environmental crises.
