Apply for Drake Music’s new three-year programme, funded by Help Musicians UK, to provide opportunities, support and greater profile to advance the next generation of disabled musicians in the pursuit of excellence in their music careers.

The project has two strands; developing new work by Disabled musicians and training new Disabled music leaders.

The aim of this exciting 3 year programme is to redress the imbalance within the music sector for Disabled musicians.

Royal United Hospitals wins Creative Bath Award for Art

Art at the Heart of the RUH has won a Creative Bath Award for Art. Acknowledging the difficulty of sustaining charitable income in this sector, the team hopes that the award will “help us gain greater financial support to enable us to continue to enhance the environment for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors at the hospital”. The programme reaches on average 200,000 people per year through exhibitions, workshops, performances and design.

Beyond Words conference, Plymouth - deadline to register 7 March 2017

An international, multi-disciplinary conference on "Privileging the unspoken in arts and communities in a posthuman world". The conference will look at communication beyond words, how the arts use the unspoken, and how those who face problems communicating with words (such as those with dementia, strokes, autism and learning difficulties) are valued and included across communities.
