Design & Health World Congress – Call for Papers – deadline 15 December

The First Announcement and Call for Papers for the 8th Design & Health World Congress & Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has been published.

Organised by the International Academy for Design & Health in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Public Works Department Malaysia, the congress is also supported by the Malaysian Institute of Architects, the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia - College of Public Health Medicine and the International Islamic University Malaysia.

SAH, Arts in Health Conference: Call for Papers – deadline 16 September

The Society for the Arts in Healthcare is now accepting abstracts for presentations at its 23rd annual international conference in May 2012; Arts & Health: A Global View.

Presentations will be accepted in several areas, including: Practice, Healthcare Environments, Research and Evaluation, and Experiential Workshops.

Reinvesting in Arts Education - Winning America's Future Through Creative Schools

The US President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities has released a report: Reinvesting in Arts Education: Winning America's Future Through Creative Schools.  The report represents an in-depth review of the current condition of arts education, including an update of the current research base about arts education outcomes, and an analysis of the challenges and opportunities in the field that have emerged over the past decade. It also includes a set of recommendations to federal, state and local policymakers.

Call for Papers for Australian Arts and Health Conference

The Third Annual International Arts and Health Conference will take place from 14 – 18 November 2011 at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra. The deadline for papers to be presented to the conference is 29th July.
