Using the Arts with Juvenile and Young Offenders Training, Artswork, Norwich – 15 March

This one-day workshop explores the benefits of using creative activities with young offenders, both within the community and the secure estate. Developed in partnership with SOFT TOUCH this course will examine practical issues, such as those encountered in secure units and personal issues, such as motivation and the development of the young people. The course will use a mixture of training techniques to help educate and inform.

'Dear Heart' Theatre Workshop Series in Cambridge, LaNYT Theatre – starting 19 February

This workshop series will explore different performance and creative arts skills, with the aim of promoting healthy heart through theatre. 

The workshops are open to everyone aged between 18-30, free of charge. The Dear Heart workshop series consists of 10 weekly drama and creative workshops (including improvisation, acting, music and dance) and offers opportunity for the group of participants to devise their own show, with support from professional artists, to be performed at the end of the series.

A collaboration between Caroline Kisby a textile and mixed media artist from East Northamptonshire and Rob Morris a Fenland based photographer working together as Creative Journeys. These arts in health practitioners spent 5 weeks working with inpatients and day therapy clients at The Cavell Centre, a mental health hospital in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
