‘Inspiring London through Culture’ grants – deadline 11 January 2019

Inspiring London through Culture is part of a central grants programme offered by the City of London Corporation. Applications for grants of up to £10,000 (£15,000 in exceptional circumstances) are currently being invited for cultural projects, with the next application round closing on 11 January 2019.

The Genesis Young Curator post responds to the acute lack of representation in the visual arts in the UK of young talented curators from diverse backgrounds. The role is a one-year placement, working the equivalent of three days per week with Create London, working with exceptional artists on ambitious public projects. Tampon Tax fund – deadline 20 January 2019

Charities working with vulnerable women can now bid for grants of £1m or more from the latest round of the government’s Tampon Tax Fund. The fund gives out £15m of grant funding each year to women’s health and support charities from the proceeds of the VAT charged on women’s sanitary products, which are taxed as luxury items.

Social Movements for Health – deadline 21 December 2018

NESTA has launched a new fund to support support up to seven emerging social movements to grow their influence and impact on health and care. The deadline for expressions of interest is 21 December. Read more

Arts, Culture and Creativity Immersive Technology for Mental Health Consultant – deadline 17 January 2019

Nesta is looking for a consultant to explore the role the arts could play in the pioneering use of immersive technology for mental health.  You will work closely with the programmes team to carry out this research, which is set to take place from February 2019 to April 2019.
