Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust – April/May grant round

The 2017 grant rounds are focused on Music and the Arts and the Elderly. Charities with an annual operating income up to a maximum of £1,000,000 and minimum £50,000 will be able to apply for a grant of £1000. Musicians with theatre experience – deadline 20 April 2017

Musicians sought for "Ugly Chief", a comedy based on true events performed by a real-life father and daughter. There will be a four-piece band on stage. The ideal band-members would play a brass instrument or saxophone plus drums, bass or keyboards. The band will also have auxiliary roles in the play. Experience of theatre is essential.

Evaluation evidence sought by Campaign to End Loneliness

The Campaign to End Loneliness has commissioned a review from the London School of Economics to find out more about the value for money of investing in measures to prevent or reduce loneliness and/or social isolation in older people. They are looking for any reports and evaluations which have included assessments of value for money.
