Opera with vulnerable adults - Artist training day, Streetwise Opera, London – 14 March

This training day will focus on the Streetwise Opera workshop model, using music to support vulnerable adults. It is suitable for artists and animateurs who wish to gain skills in working with homeless people and vulnerable adults using opera. The sessions will be led by Streetwise Opera’s Artistic Director (Workshops).

Big Dance Bus 2012

The Big Dance Bus will take to the road between 18 May and 15 July and is designed to profile and promote dance in an interactive, celebratory and eye-catching way, to assist organisations in reaching both new audiences and participants to watch, learn and join in dance.

Winston Churchill Memorial Trust awards travel Fellowships for 2012

The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the Baring Foundation have awarded nine Travelling Fellowships, totalling £57,000, for 2012 in their Arts for Older People category.

Grant funded, expressive arts workshops for individuals with or recovering from breast cancer, The Haven, Fulham

These artist-led sessions are designed to support positive wellbeing and unlock hidden talents by reacquainting participants with the joys of creative expression. Using playful artistic techniques, sessions are not dependant on artistic skill, but rather a willingness to engage in creative exploration and discovery.
