Inclusive Music Training, Joy Of Sound – 24 February

Joy of Sound, inclusive music and arts providers, are offering training in their approach to inclusive, accessible music workshop facilitation. JOS works with all comers, including people with disabilities, often multiple or severe, and their supporters. Training would suit music workers,health workers, educationalists, therapists or those with an interest in inclusive arts.

Artists wanted, Older People Project, Rotherham MBC – deadline 26 February

Artists are wanted for a project in an Older People’s Mental Health Unit in the grounds of Rotherham General Hospital. 3 artists are wanted, 1 visual artist to possibly create sensory work such as ‘touch boards/pictures’ 1 musician and 1 other artist from any discipline. Fee: £100 per workshop inclusive of VAT & all other expenses, materials budget is separate.

Arts 4 Dementia, London Arts Challenge in 2012 - Internships

Public realm artist, Institute of Mental Health, Nottingham – deadline 2 March

Expressions of interest are invited to create a new public realm sculpture to be sited outside the new headquarters of the Institute of Mental Health, on the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will lead an engagement programme with local mental health groups to develop the design, which is likely to be installed by autumn 2012.

Arts Council England: Strategic Touring Programme – deadline 2 March

The £45 million programme aims to encourage collaboration between cultural organisations so more people across England experience and are inspired by the arts, particularly in places which rely on touring for much of their arts provision.

Arts Council England announces Renaissance major partner museums and Museum Development Fund

The Arts Council has announced the 16 major partner museums, as well as further details of the Museum Development Fund. The 16 Renaissance Major partners will together receive approximately £20 million a year in funding for the next three years as part of its Renaissance programme for regional museums.
