Tesco Charity Trust - Support for the Elderly and / or People with Disabilities - deadline 30 September

The Tesco Charity Trust has announced that it is currently accepting applications for projects supporting the elderly and/or people with disabilities. Community and Voluntary groups can apply for grants of between £500 and £4,000 through the Tesco Charity’s Community Awards.

Exhibition Opportunity 2012, artbyclive – deadline 30 September

Call for individual artists or groups to exhibit in the Colne Gallery in Colchester Hospital. The Colne is a well established gallery suitable for all 2D artwork, with 53 ft of exhibition space. 12 month long exhibtions are sought for 2012.

Big Dance Micro Grants , London – deadline 17 October

Film London Support for Film Exhibition and Education Projects – deadlines 21 & 28 October

Film London has announced plans to continue supporting film culture in the capital in the coming year. The agency outlined the funding opportunities available for 2011-2012 and launched a new round of applications for the Cultural Film Exhibition Fund and the newly created Community Pilot Fund.

Design Enhancing quality of life for older people: Independence Matters

The Design Council and Technology Strategy Board have launched the Keeping Connected Business Challenge as part of a new programme, Independence Matters, which will demonstrate how design-led solutions can enhance independent living and quality of life for older people, with and without long term conditions.

Professional Development Workshops in Dance Movement Psychotherapy

Arts Council England Renaissance funding of regional museums – deadline 2 November

The funding for the reworked Renaissance major grants programme - which replaces the MLA's core museums fund - is £20m a year. For the first time, major grants to regional museums will be awarded via an open application process, assessed against published criteria, in a similar fashion to the National portfolio funding process for arts organisations earlier this year.

Funding deadlines for EU Culture Programme – 1 October and 15 November

Two new funding strands under the European Commission’s Culture Programme are now open for applications: ‘Support to European Cultural Festivals’ and ‘Cooperation Projects between organisations involved in cultural policy analysis’.
