Lottery funded arts projects up for the public vote – deadline 20 June

Ten UK-based organisations are competing for public votes in the Best Arts Project category of The National Lottery Awards 2011. The Awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects and recognise the difference that these organisations – both big and small – make to local communities.

Grass Roots Grant Programme for 2011-12 – Liverpool – deadline 4 July

The Grass Roots Grant Programme is a joint initiative of Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Primary Care Trust as part of the Decade of Health and Wellbeing. BBC Performing Arts Fund – Community Dance – deadline 12 July

The BBC Performing Arts Fund is now accepting applications for community dance projects. The scheme has up to £200,000 to award, with grants of £500 - £5,000 available.

New £500,000 Digital R&D fund for Arts and Culture

Arts Council England, the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) have announced a new £500,000 Digital R&D Fund for Arts and Culture.

IdeasTap and Sky Arts launch £30,000 bursary - deadline 19 September

IdeasTap, the online arts and funding organisation, in conjunction with Sky Arts has launched a new bursary for young artists. The Sky Arts Ignition: Futures Fund will offer five young artists £30,000 each to fund their work for a year.

New Creativity and Ageing Partnership launched by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the Baring Foundation

The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the Baring Foundation have launched a partnership to offer Travelling Fellowships, under the theme of Arts and Older People, to those with an interest in the field of arts/creativity and older people to experience, observe or research best practice and inspiring programmes in other countries.
