People's Postcode Trust Grants

The People's Postcode Trust distribute grants from £500 to £10,000 to community groups, small organisations and charities working in areas including improving health, community development and participation in sport. Walsall Arts Co-ordinator

Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint an Arts Co-ordinator in early 2010. Bethlem Arts Co-ordinator

South West Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting for an Arts Co-ordinator at the Bethlem Royal Hospital (RBH) in Beckenham. The role is 15 hours per week and would suit an individual with experience and understanding of the benefits of artistic expression for people with mental health problems. Arts and Health Researcher

The Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy Centre in London are looking to recruit a part-time (4 days per week) Arts & Health Researcher to develop innovative studies in the areas of music and health, music therapy, culture and wellbeing. The researcher needs to have demonstrable knowledge of the Arts and Health research and practice fields, strong empirical research experience and quantitative research skills.

London Open Submission Exhibition

Personality Plus has announced a London open submission exhibition for art by people who identify with personality disorder. The work of 30 artists, including visual art, film, sculpture and performance will be selected for a two month exhibition opening in February 2010 at the Together Gallery in London. Arts & Refugees invitation to tender

 

The Arts Council have announced an invitation to tender for the £150,000 recently made available to run a four year programme of arts and refugee national events and website. £100,000 of the funding has come from the Baring Foundation who will be administering applications, the deadline for which is 5pm 12th November. w: www.baringfoundation.org.uk/AandRTender.pdf

Arts on Prescription

Cambridgeshire’s Arts and Minds is looking to recruit three new staff for its new Arts on Prescription scheme, an Admin & Finance Officer, an Arts on Prescription Manager and a Research Manager. Based in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, the three new roles will help deliver an arts programme with mental health support, as an alternative non drug based intervention for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues at a number of sites across the county.

Youth Music’s Open Programme funding

Youth Music’s Open Programme is inviting applications from projects working to increase the number of children and young people with access to high quality and sustainable music making activities across England. The Open Programme will be providing grants of between £5,000 and £30,000 for 2009/2010, the deadline for applications is 10th November.
