City Arts in partnership with Arts Partnership Nottinghamshire and Targeted Mental Health in Schools is seeking to employ an artist/artist group to plan and deliver a series of participatory art workshops in schools in North Nottinghamshire, between October 2010 and March 2011, designed to enhance the overall emotional health and wellbeing of the children and young people within their environme

Arts Partnership Surrey are seeking to appoint a researcher / organisation to evaluate the health benefits of participatory singing ; specifically of Singing Surrey, a county-wide singing project, establishing new singing groups and developing new music leaders in each area.

Through Youth Music’s Open Programme, grants of between £5,000 and £30,000 are available to support projects that provide music-making activities for children and young people in support of Youth Music's goals.

The Eranda Foundation seeks to support research into medicine and education, encourage the arts and support social welfare. The Foundation's policy is to provide support that will make a significant contribution to the work being undertaken in the fields of interest.

Upbeat is a user-led arts organisation with a focus on providing an inclusive service to individuals recovering from mental health issues. Upbeat is planning a series of Summer Music Workshops for people living in Camden. Participants must be in recovery from mental health issues and have a support system in place. 

The IMPACT Awards have been running since 1997 and are designed to recognise and reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health. The awards are open to registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, and are designed to recognise success and achievements for existing work.

Elixir Arts and Gallery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich are looking to recruit a number of interns over the summer to assist with the administration and promotion of projects including Elixir Gallery and the Well Tuned music volunteers programme.

Organised by Arts and Health Australia, the 2nd international ‘Art of Good Health and Wellbeing’ arts and health conference will take place in Australia from 16th – 19th November at the Sidney Myer Asia Centre, University of Melbourne.
