Celebrating Age Fund – deadline for expressions of interest 31 August 2017

Arts Council England and the Baring Foundation have issued a call for expressions of interest for funding through the Celebrating Age programme.

Grants of between £50,000 and £100,000 are available for consortia with one lead organisation. To be eligible to apply, the lead applicant needs to be Arts Council funded, or have presented work to the public through one of their programmes. Battersea Power Station invests in the arts

Battersea Power Station Development Company has announced an initial investment of £6.8m to “build a sense of community and ownership” through year one of a new cultural programme. The programme includes the Village Hall, a multi-use arts venue developed in partnership with Battersea Arts Centre.

Film London production funding – deadline 25 July 2017

Film London is calling for applications to its short film schemes, London Calling and London Calling Plus. Championing diverse talent, seven of this year's awards will be specifically for BAME filmmakers. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 25 July. Alongside production funding, the schemes offer a full package of training and support for London-based filmmaking teams.

The Drapers' Charitable Fund – rolling deadline

The charity aims to improve the quality of life and expectations of people and their communities, especially those disadvantaged or socially excluded, through the award of grants in the fields of education and social welfare, particularly in Greater London where the Company has its historical roots. The Company also promotes its textile heritage through support for textile conservation, and maintains its traditional support for the City of London, Northern Ireland, and heritage.

ACE Catalyst Small Grants Scheme – deadline 10 August 2017

Grants of between £10,000 and £30,000 are available to not-for-profit arts and culture organisations, museums, and libraries to build fundraising capacity to enable them to attract more private giving to arts and culture.

PRS for Music Foundation Open Fund for Organisations – deadline 2 October 2017

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to support new music projects led by promoters, talent development organisations, venues, festivals, curators, and large performance groups.

Projects must involve the creation, performance and promotion of new music and enable songwriters, composers, or solo artists, bands, producers and performers of all backgrounds to develop creatively and professionally.

Please note: bands and small musical groups are no longer considered by The Open Fund as Organisations and should now apply as Music Creators.

Paul Hamlyn Ideas and Pioneers fund – rolling deadline

The Ideas and Pioneers Fund supports people and/or groups with unusual or radical ideas that aim to improve the life chances and opportunities of people in the UK.

Ideas and projects that support this mission are invited to apply for up to £15,000.

People whose ideas are in the early stages of development are particularly welcome to apply.

The Trust supports the development of the skills, knowledge and experience that underpin the UK’s traditional cultural heritage and crafts sectors; as well as classical music performance and training, especially chamber music, composition and music education.
