Musical Interaction is socially inclusive approach to developing rapport and relationship. Grounded in the theory and practice of Intensive Interaction, participatory arts, person centred dementia care and research into rapport. Musical conversations are an enjoyable and effective way to meet the social needs of elders and people living with dementia in residential care settings.

A practical course suitable for anyone who supports or works with older people including support workers, therapists, managers, musicians, artists and family members. The course will deepen the practice of existing music practitioners and will also be of benefit to those with no previous musical experience.
