Music, Health and Wellbeing Symposium, University Hospital Limerick – 14 May 2020

University Hospital Limerick is inviting clinical professionals, music therapists, musicians, representatives from relevant NGOs, service users and members of the public, to share in a day of research, workshops and performances exploring music, music therapy, health and wellbeing.

Led by Dr Hilary Moss and Katie Fitzpatrick of the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, the event will feature a keynote presentation from Professor Joanne Loewy DA, LCAT, MT-BC Director of the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine, at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York. The day will provide research findings and share clinical practice to show how music therapy can enhance medical outcomes.
