Ministry of Loneliness, Tate Modern – 20 January 2019

'On the mend’, a collective of designers committed to improving the experiences of those in healthcare environments, is holding its first event at Tate Modern, in response to recent UK statistics relating to loneliness.

The Ministry of Loneliness

When Sunday 20 January, 12-5pm (drop in, free, child-friendly)
Where Level 5, Blavatnik Building, Tate Modern, Bankside London SE1 9TG

"You don’t need to be a doctor or a minister to help combat loneliness. We’ve set up the Ministry of Loneliness to bring loneliness into public conversation. At this year's TATE exchange, we invite you to write letters to those in long term healthcare. We will then distribute these letters to those who are likely to be feeling lonely, predominantly in care homes, and cystic fibrosis units across the UK."
