Love Unspoken, Spare Tyre in association with Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch – 2-5 October 2019

Succeeding acclaimed shows Once Upon a Time (2011) and The Garden (2015), Spare Tyre, one of the UK’s leading participatory theatre companies, will debut Love Unspoken this October at Queens Theatre Hornchurch. Conceived and directed by Arti Prashar and supported by The Mercers’ Charitable Foundation, there are plans to continue presenting the show into 2020.

Spare Tyre will engage with people living with dementias and their carers from the South Asian diaspora, inviting them to co-create and perform alongside professional performers. The show explores the theme of love in its many forms and includes ritual, dance and sound, treating participants as an equal partner in the live theatre experience.
