London Creativity and Wellbeing Week – submit your events by 7 May

The London Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2012 will take place from June 13-20 this summer and promises to be a great showcase for the huge variety of arts and health activity in the capital. There is still time to get involved and include your events or just to start planning what you want to see and do! w:

Tickets for “To Save Our Lives”, the opening lecture by award-winning writer AL Kennedy at Tate Modern will be on sale very soon, and in the meantime you might be interested in her BBC Radio 3 programme questioning the links between art and madness which will be broadcast next Sunday 22 April. The programme will also feature contributions from psychologist Dorothy Rowe, psychotherapist Adam Phillips, writer Lisa Appignanesi, playwright John Byrne, pianist James Rhodes, performance artist Bobby Baker, sculptor and artist Cornelia Parker, actor Edward Petherbridge and patients and staff at Bethlem Psychiatric Hospital.
