Liberty, Walthamstow – 23-24 November 2019

Liberty, the Mayor of London’s free festival celebrating the work of deaf and disabled artists, is coming to Waltham Forest. Over the weekend there will be a club night from Deaf Rave, immersive installations from artist Nwando Ebizie and Architects of Air, pop-up performances and more. Liberty is presented by The Mayor of London in partnership with Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019. All venues and events will have a range of access facilities so that everyone can enjoy the action.

Liberty Scratch, an informal showcase of raw and untested performance, are inviting performance artists living or working in Waltham Forest, at every stage of their careers, to send in ideas that they’d like to try out in front of the audience, at the Libery Scratch event at the Trades Hall, Walthamstow, on 24 November. The deadline for this is 11 November and full details can be found in the document below.
