Marketing and Development Associate
We are recruiting! In 2012, LAHF is expanding its staff team and firstly we are looking to recruit a Marketing and Development Associate to join the organisation from February to support the Director in raising the profile of LAHF’s work and developing strategic opportunities for the organisation as it joins Arts Council England’s National Portfolio.
This role is for an experienced arts professional with expertise in fundraising, promotion and development and a clear understanding of and passion for the role the arts can play in wellbeing. The new Associate role is offered for an initial ten month period and is likely to involve an average of two days work per week on a freelance basis. The deadline for applications for this role is Monday 23 January, so if you are interested, please email Damian Hebron for specific details, e: damian@lahf.org.uk
Annual Survey
This is an important tool for us in working out what we offer members and also what goes in (and out) of the newsletter. And we rely on your input. Over recent years, the newsletter has become a really important barometer of work in arts in health in London and beyond so it would be great if you could take five minutes to fill in the survey here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/LAHF
You should have already received a personalised invitation to complete this last week – if you have already done so, many thanks, and please ignore this reminder!

National Alliance for Arts Health and Wellbeing – a charter for arts and health
Over the past year, regional organisations from across the country have been working together to establish a new National Alliance for arts, health and wellbeing. As part of this process, a series of events are taking place across England to develop a Charter that will set out the mutual values for those working in arts, health and wellbeing and embody the founding principles for a National Alliance.
South East Arts and Health Partnership, Arts and Health East and London Arts in Health Forum have teamed up to plan several events to help create this Charter. These events are taking place through January, members of all organisations are invited to attend any of the events. The first of these happened this week in London but if you missed that, there are still some places available at the remaining events.
