Administration and Community Involvement Officer, Self Advocacy Trainer & Project Administrator, Communications & Volunteer Officer, Volunteer Coordinator.

Administration and Community Involvement Officer (Full Time - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract) – deadline 6 March
A new opportunity for an experienced personable administrator/receptionist with excellent communication and volunteer supervision skills. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, able to multi-task with good customer service skills a sense of humour and an abundance of energy and creative ideas to ensure the office and reception runs smoothly. The applicant must demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised, use their own initiative and communicate appropriately with a diverse range of people. Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.

Self Advocacy Trainer & Project Administrator (Full Time - 2 year Fixed Term Contract) – deadline 8 March
A new role to provide administration and training alongside the Self-Advocacy Training Manager. The post-holder will develop and co-deliver a programme of peer-lead/group training, one to one tutorials, in collaboration with participants and project partners. The aim is for this to become an accredited/endorsed course and requires a person with strong administrative skills, including evaluation and lesson planning skills. You will be emotionally resilient, personable and compassionate, have a sense of humour, be self-motivated with a strong sense of social justice and have an empathy with mental health issues.

Communications & Volunteer Officer (3 days a week – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract) – deadline 5 March
CoolTan Arts is looking for an experienced, dynamic proactive person with at least 2 years experience working in communications and marketing, ideally in the context of mental health and / or voluntary sector. The role demands excellent; communication, organisation, managerial, volunteer management, web, social media skills and the ability to multi-task. You will need to be personable, compassionate, self-motivated and want to create a transformation in mental health delivery by raising greater awareness of positive mental health among the general public. Along with a strong sense of social justice and an empathy with mental health issues, you must be able to prioritise and think strategically under pressure to meet deadlines. Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.

Volunteer Coordinator (2 days a week – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract) – deadline 22 February
CoolTan Arts is looking for a personable, upbeat, lively, can-do person, who works well in a team, to join our existing staff as a Volunteer Coordinator and lead on recruiting, engaging, training and supporting a range of volunteers from diverse and excluded communities including those with mental distress, disabilities and long-term illnesses. This role will build on the existing volunteer opportunities at CoolTan Arts, and support the work of the full time Volunteer Coordinator. This post is designed to extend service provision and deliver project specific volunteering opportunities alongside CoolTan Arts mainstream work.
