"I Want to Live" workshops, Kentish Town – 13 September-4 October 2018

This series of four workshops led by artist and suicide attempt survivor Daniel Regan explore suicide, loss and bereavement. They will use a variety of creative techniques to support those who have been suicidal or attempted suicide, or lost family or friends who have taken their own lives.

Workshops are held at 6pm on four successive Thursdays: 13, 20 and 27 September, and 4 October.

"Over a four week period participants will be able to utilise a number of creative techniques to express their emotions around these themes. These workshops are open to people that have been suicidal or attempted suicide, or lost family or friends who have taken their own lives. Sessions are clinically supported by integretative psychotherapist Lizz Lewis. Participants are welcome to attend just one session or all 4, but please do sign up for all the sessions you'd like to attend."

I Want to Live comprises interviews and photographic portraits of suicide-prevention charity Maytree’s volunteer workforce. The exhibition investigates how people come to volunteer for those in suicidal crisis, volunteers’ own mental health experiences and the impact of suicide.
