Garment+ clothing workshop – 13 December 2016

Garment+ is a six-month project looking at how clothing can be made more user friendly for patients who have mobility problems, this event offers people the opportunity to explore prototype garments and provide feedback helping to shape new user-friendly clothing.

The project is for people with rheumatological conditions, people who have had a stroke or those who have been injured. It aims to help improve patient wellbeing by designing everyday clothing that is easier to put on and use. The drop in workshop is all day at the Atrium at King’s College Hospital (map)

A final exhibition, showcasing the final designs, is scheduled for February 2017 at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. For more information about this and the project more generally see here.
