Music and dementia - 21 January 2016

Age UK London is running a practical workshop looking at how to devise and deliver vocal/percussion workshops for people living with dementia.

The workshop from 10 am - 1 pm on 21 January will take place at the Salvation Army Community Church, 1 Princess Street, London SE1 6HH

Drama for dementia – from 20 January 2016

Arts4Dementia is running a programme of weekly drama and music workshops at Putney Arts Theatre to re-energise and inspire people in the early stages of dementia and carers.

Circle of Trees

An environmental arts therapy group is open to new members interested in exploring healing through art-making and connecting to nature.

The group meets fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at The London Art Therapy Centre, Archway.

Participants are asked to commit to the group for a minimum of one term (6 sessions) but may stay for the whole year.

Compassionate Care Through Play – 26 January 2016

Dementia Pathfinders is offering a one-day course exploring the role of play, clowning and laughter in the support of people with dementia.
