Elderly Care by Design

Taking place at London South Bank University in London on 18th February this one day conference, organised by the International Academy for Design and Health, will present a selection of talks, discussions, exhibitions and workshops to explore the issue of designing environments for independent living. Speakers will include Dr Finbarr Martin, Acting National Director for Old People, Department of Health, John Zeisel, Founder and President of Heathstone Alzheimer Care & Visiting Professor, School of the Built Environment, Salford University, Mikael Paatela, Sweco Paatela Architects, Finland, and Dr Jane Hendy, Health and Care Infrastructure Research & Innovation Centre, Imperial College.
