The Artist in the Archive workshops – various January / February 2012
The Artist in the Archive is a short programme of free workshops to meet the growing interest in collaborating with film, TV and sound collections, particularly those held by the BFI and the BBC.

An intensive workshop designed for arts therapists and arts and health professionals who need to develop practical skills in monitoring and evaluation procedures appropriate to individual workplaces.
State of the arts: artists shaping the world, Salford – 14 February 2012
State of the arts, the national conference for the arts and culture sector: Held in Salford, the event will be hosted by Arts Council England in conjunction with the BBC, The Lowry, Salford City Council and Manchester City Council.
Art & Science of Trauma at GV Art, London – 1 December to 18 February 2012
An exhibition, curated by Dr Jonathan Hutt and Bojana Popovic, which attempts to understand the various manifestations of trauma both natural and man-made; revealing the intimate experience of those who live with trauma while also investigating perceptions of sometimes concealed mental distress.
Promoting Wellbeing in Ageing: the Role of Music, London – 22 February
The seminar will consist of a presentation of findings from an ESRC funded ‘New Dynamics of Ageing’ research project, followed by a discussion of ways to develop opportunities for active music making for older people in local communities.
