Development Manager, Tandridge Trust, Surrey – deadline 15 September 2014

This position sits within the Cultural Development team at Tandridge Trust, which is responsible for developing Arts, Sports, Health and Wellbeing initiatives for communities in East Surrey and further afield through the South East.

Key responsibilities of the Development manager include:
• seeking out and nurturing partnership working with other agencies and organisations
• negotiating and making applications to external funding sources
• Leading on multi-partner arts and health projects
• Managing the arts and sports coordinators

Experience of project management is important as is evidence of negotiating budgets and creating successful funding bids. Knowledge of the leisure, cultural or health sector is key. A driver with access to a car is very desirable. This post offers flexible hours with potential for some home working, there will be occasional weekend and evening work and you will be required to travel for some meetings and seminars. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
