Changes at the LankellyChase Foundation

LankellyChase Foundation launched a new website and grant programme at www.lankellychase.org.uk

“LankellyChase is now focused exclusively on bringing about change that will transform the quality of life of people who face severe and multiple disadvantage. By severe and multiple disadvantage we particularly mean the persistent interlocking of homelessness, substance misuse, mental and physical illness, violence and abuse and extreme poverty. Our fundamental goal is to help shift the way that people on the extreme margins are valued by society, so that policy, public debate and practice are focused on people’s capabilities and humanity.

The website includes details of our new grants programme, the ‘Promoting Change Network’. We want to build a growing network of funded organisations which are working to transform the lives of people who face severe and multiple disadvantage. In this first grant round, we are looking to fund 15-20 organisations. We want funded organisations to exchange ideas and learning, and to collaborate in building momentum behind the case for change. The deadline for first stage applications is Friday 14th September 2012.”
