Changes at LAHF

The LAHF Director, Damian Hebron will be leaving in the early autumn to take up a new role, joining NESTA’s Health Lab. Judith Mellor, LAHF’s Chair said: “Many congratulations to Damian, all of us at LAHF will miss him hugely. He has steered the organisation for the past 15 years with energy, vision and sensitivity.  His knowledge and contacts within the arts in health sector are unparalleled, and his generous willingness to help organisations in this sector in so many ways has led to the increasing awareness of the importance of Arts in Health.  While recognising he needs new professional challenges, we all know he will leave a big gap here. In order to ensure continuity the LAHF Trustees have already begun planning the recruitment process. We are excited to be offering this unique position to candidates who will have the opportunity to shape the Arts and Health landscape, and to lead this world recognised organisation into an exciting future. The role will be advertised later this month. Neil Parker will continue in his role, supporting the organisation during this period of transition and thereafter.”
