Regional Manager (London), Making Music – deadline 4 May

Making Music supports and champions amateur musical groups. The role will be to recruit and manage volunteers, support member groups, grow membership and act as an ambassador for amateur music making.

This post is home-based. Salary £30,000 pa (pro-rata).

Office Manager, Scene & Heard – deadline 7 May

Scene & Heard is a mentoring charity that brings together the inner city children of Somers Town, London, with volunteer theatre professionals to create original theatre. The organisation runs five to six courses a year, producing approximately 50 short plays annually. The charity operates with a staff of three, a volunteer base of 450+ theatre arts professionals and an annual turnover of £150K.

Artists Schools Workshops and SEN Workshops Programme, Tate – deadline 14 May

Tate Britain and Tate Modern are looking for contemporary artists with a strong ongoing practice interested in exploring their practice and the works in the collection in the context of regular workshops with mainstream and Special Educational Needs primary and secondary children. Artists are asked to develop the workshop sessions through their own practice in relation to the collection in discussion and collaboration with the rest of the team and the Learning staff.

Festival Volunteers, Happy Soul Festival – deadline 23 May

Happy Soul Festival is a free festival celebrating Black and Minority Ethnic film, music and art exploring themes around mental health and wellbeing. The Festival, now its 6th year will run from 25 May - 10 June, and is hosted in six London Boroughs - Brent, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandwsorth.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the smooth running and success of the forthcoming Festival.

Roles will include:
Setting up and breaking down of venues
Ushering
Collating and completing evaluation forms
Staffing information tables

Cultural Connections Mental Health Arts Engagement Comission, St.Helens Council – deadline 10 May

A partnership has been formed between St.Helens Council Arts Service, Adult Social Care and Library Service, to develop a commission that will engage local communities in arts activity culminating in a performance/exhibition/film/event/ production, date tbc. The commission will engage with people suffering with mental health issues – ranging from mild to moderate to more severe and enduring needs.

Call for Expressions of Interest from Artists and Designers, Dudley – deadline 14 May

Bloomin' is an arts programme developed by Creative Health CIC to reduce smoking during pregnancy in Dudley. Based on a social marketing model, the first phase of the programme will investigate the root causes of why women continue to smoke in pregnancy, despite hard evidence that it is harmful to both them and their baby. In the second phase, marketing interventions will be put in place to encourage behaviour change. Expressions of interest are invited from artists and designers who would like to work on the programme.

Project coordinator, Friction Arts, Birmingham – deadline 18 May

Friction is seeking an experienced project coordinator for its HLF-funded 'Echoes' project. Echoes seeks to engage people with their shared heritage through a series of interventions, events and online resources, leading to an immersive exhibition during the Summer of 2013. The post is a fixed-term part-time contract, ending in December 2013. Friction Arts is also seeking an evaluator for the same project.
