The Therapeutic Use of Embodied Experiences, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh

A series of four intensive professional development workshop weekends offering perspectives from Dance Movement Psychotherapy.

These intensive weekends aim to:

   * Introduce selected aspects of the discipline of dance movement psychotherapy

   * Support the development of awareness of relational and personal issues in non-verbal communication

   * Offer embodied knowledge of therapeutic practices with children and adults with diverse abilities to professionals from diverse backgrounds

Dance Movement Psychotherapy Courses at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh

QMU is currently actively recruiting for two courses (MSc and short course introduction to the subject) starting in October 2011.

Postgraduate Community and Participatory Arts Programme, Staffordshire University

The Postgraduate Community and Participatory Arts Programme at Staffordshire University develops involvement in this field of work, and supports practitioners to gain skills and knowledge.

The module options include a range of specialisms including Community Arts In Global perspective and The Artist Professional Development programme - Developing Arts For Health.
