Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary 2012 – deadline 8 May

The Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary 2012 is now open for entries.

The bursary is available to disabled mid-career visual artists. This year’s winner will be awarded £5,000 and a three-month residency at Camden Arts Centre, London.

Now in its fifth year, the Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary is open to artists working in a disability or deaf arts context as well as from artists whose work is not focused on their disability.

Bursary Awards 2012, Royal British Society of Sculptors – deadline 9 May

The Royal British Society of Sculptors is currently inviting applications from early career sculptors for 10 Bursary Awards.

Benefits of the Award include:
• Two years of free membership of the Society
• Inclusion in the Award exhibition and catalogue
• Mentoring by senior members of the Society

The Change Makers – deadline 28 March

Community Channel has partnered with The Sunday Times to launch The Change Makers, a campaign to find the social entrepreneur of the year.

The competition is now open for nominations of inspirational social entrepreneurs who are running projects or organisations which are having significant positive impacts on the community.

National Lottery Awards – deadline 12 March

The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK's favourite Lottery-funded projects.


Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Awards - deadline 9 September

Nominations are now open for a special award that will mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee by recognising the work of voluntary organisations throughout the United Kingdom.

The new Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award 2012 will honour the efforts of charities and voluntary organisations that undertake projects at a national level this year, including groups which are supporting the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

New Arts and Health Awards scheme for the West Midlands, praXis & Creative Remedies – deadline 25 November

Recognising, supporting and promoting innovation in Arts & Health in the West Midlands.

praXis Creative Remedies Arts and Health Awards is a new awards scheme for artists, organisations, students or groups providing an opportunity for work to be recognised, promoted and shared with others.

Winners will be awarded a place on a professional development programme and support for the development of a practical project.

The Acorn Awards 2011: Using nature to improve the lives of vulnerable people – deadline 18 November

Entries are invited from organisations providing services to vulnerable or socially excluded people including supported and sheltered housing, adult social care, criminal justice, social housing, and community-based services.
