BMA Patient Information Awards 2016 – deadline 29 February 2016

The British Medical Association is inviting submissions for its Patient Information Awards that demonstrate excellence and innovation in providing information for patients. The awards can be for leaflets or information sheets as well as web resources which offer accessible, well-designed and clinically balanced patient information.

European Healthcare Design Congress – 27 June 2016

The second European Healthcare Design 2016 Congress & Exhibition will be held from 27-28 June, 2016 at the Royal College of Physicians in London, UK.

Innovation awards – deadline 1 September

The Idox Innovation Awards aim to showcase those projects that have demonstrated a creative and forward-thinking approach to improving the life of communities in one or more UK locations.

£3,000 will be awarded to each winning project of the Award’s five categories, together with promotional and publicity opportunities.

Wellcome Image Awards - submissions deadline 9 September

The Wellcome collections' picture library is currently acccepting submissions of images for the library and for its awards.

Award-winning images will go on display in science centres and public galleries around the world.

FIRST@108 Public Art Award – deadline 10 June 2015

FIRST@108 is an award run by the Royal British Society of Sculptors offering an emerging sculptor the opportunity to create two new interlinking public artworks for the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital on the theme of memory.

The Creative Future Literary Awards – deadline 15 June 2015

The Creative Future Literary Awards is a national literary competition and high profile awards ceremony which celebrates talented writers who lack opportunities due to mental health issues, disability, health or social circumstance.

Prizes are awarded for both poetry and short fiction. There is no entry fee. Winners are selected by a panel of industry experts. Prizes include £1000 of cash prizes and professional writing development support.


People’s Art Prize – deadline 20 May 2015

Individual artists and organisations are invited to submit entries for a new prize for participatory community art.

City of London Growing Localities Awards 2014/15 – deadline 17 December 2014

Entries are invited for the Growing Localities Awards - which celebrate innovative use of nature and green spaces to improve and enhance lives across the capital. T

The awards recognise creative projects and people working to use London’s green spaces to improve the livelihood of its residents. The scheme will culminate in a celebratory event and related publication in spring 2015. Entries for the Growing Localities Awards are invited from projects and initiatives that involve any one or a combination of the following categories: 

Arts & Health South West Prize 2015 - deadline 16 January 2015

An award of £5000 is available to organisations based in the South West of England which can demonstrate excellence in arts in health practice.

The award - supported by the Fine Family Foundation - is accompanied by an individual prize and a runner-up prize both of £1000.


Barking and Dagenham awards

Awards of up to £50,000 are available for artists and arts organisations to create extraordinary site specific arts experiences at landmarks across Barking & Dagenham, in collaboration with local residents.

The Creative Barking and Dagenham programme run by Studio 3 Arts is managing a range of activities including this new site specific programme.
