Music and Mind, Free Space Project – 30 November 2018

This evening event will feature a mix of European Classical and Indian music performed by celebrated tabla player, Kuljit Bhamra and the Alkyona String Quartet with readings of poetry, spoken word and scientific research interspersing the music by acclaimed actress Saskia Reeves.

I want to live – 5 July 2019

I Want To Live is an exhibition exploring mental health and suicide by photographer Daniel Regan and suicide prevention charity Maytree. The exhibition runs through the summer but there will be an early evening tour and talk on 5 July.

Dr Edward Wilson: From St. George’s to Antarctica – 23 November 2017

Live Arts at St George’s Hospital, along with the Archives of St George’s University of London, is hosting an evening of talks to accompany an exhibition of photographs, documents and illustrations relating to St George’s alumnus, Edward Adrian Wilson who trained at St George’s Hospital and accompanied Captain Scott to the Antarctic in 1912.

The evening will include talks by Dr David Wilson, great nephew of Edward Wilson, and Anne Strathie, Polar Historian. Venue: Monckton Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Grosvenor Wing, St George’s Hospital, Blackshaw Road, Tooting SW17 0QT

Panel discussion: The role/impact of art in healthcare – 21 November 2017

As part of a week-long gallery programme, clothing brand Twenty Pegs is hosting a panel discussion on the benefits the arts can offer to patients, health workers, and wider society.
