Calls for abstracts, European Association of Health Information and Libraries conference – deadline 27 October 2017

With a theme addressing art, health and wellbeing, this conference in July 2018 is seeking abstract submissions from practitioners.

The conference organisers are keen to hear from people whose experiences can inspire delegates to consider the types of projects and collaborations their health libraries could undertake, and also from those who can demonstrate the positive impacts those collaborations can bring.

Produce UK are looking for performance artists, wellbeing teachers and workshop leaders to run sessions / perform at the festival in anything wellbeing related at an up and coming Sports & Wellbeing Festival taking place on Sunday 6th August 2017 at Kings Cross.

This annual event which drew over 8,000 visitors last year and has grown in size this year.

The University of Bedfordshire welcomes proposals for a conference - with policymakers in local and regional government, artists and academics through a discussion of the impact of art practice on a sense of place.

Project proposals, QConsult – deadline 21 July 2017

Applications are open for QConsult, a Queen Mary University programme that places teams of undergraduate students into third sector organisations for a seven-week piece of consultancy work.

Student groups can tackle a problem, explore a strategic issue or carry out a piece of work from a ‘wish list’ that your organisation would otherwise lack the time or resource to accomplish.

Call for artists, bloggers, writers and people with experience of breast cancer

Breathless Breastless Project is a breast cancer awareness art exhibition, bringing together artists and people with lived experience. The Project has exhibited in Aberdeen and Peterhead and also at The Saltaire Arts Festival Bradford.

The project is seeking new work to be exhibited at The Carre Gallery, Sleaford, Lincolnshire in November 2017.

Call for evaluations of visual art projects for adults with mental health issues – deadline 26 June 2017

The What Works Centre for Wellbeing (a non-profit, independent research centre) is working with Brunel University and others on an evidence review into the impact of visual arts on adults with mental health issues. The Centre needs your help to include project evaluations and more accurately reflect this area of work.

The deadline has been extended to 26 June.
