Writing for Forum Theatre

“Gained inspiration and ideas for my own Forum play, related to my own issues… and community.” (Course participant 2013)A week-long intensive masterclass to learn how to structure an engaging and provocative piece of participatory theatre. This five day course is suitable for devisers, playwrights, social activists, theatre practitioners, community workers, teachers and youth workers.

Rainbow of Desires 1: Advance Forum Theatre Training
Led by Adrian Jackson, the Artistic Director of Cardboard Citizens
This course uses theatre to help us understand our own oppressions and unlock our potential. Those already familiar with Forum Theatre will find the course offers a further set of theatrical tools and people new to the work will be amazed at the possibilities.

A two-day course focusing on the skills of the joker (facilitator/‘difficultator’) and the dramaturgy of Forum Theatre plays. For people already familiar with Forum Theatre, and/or facilitators from other disciplines.
