Call for expressions of interest, Arts in Health & Wellbeing Projects, Hull – deadline 29 August 2014

Hull City Council invites expressions of interest from artists for creative projects in any artform or multiple artforms, working with people aged 45+, people with physical and/or mental health conditions and their family carers. The overall aims of the project seek to use creative activity to have a positive impact on quality of life; access and participation; increasing skill and creativity; increasing physical and mental wellbeing, and addressing issues of isolation. They are looking for original and exciting ideas and welcome proposals from individuals, groups and organisations based locally or nationally, which could include artists residencies. These commissions are to take place in the City of Hull from end October 2014 and must be completed by end March 2015.

Applications are welcomed for projects of up to £10k, however this is an upper limit and they would expect that some proposals of a much smaller nature would be part of the project.
