‘Squaring the Circle’: challenges for Civil Society in London – 29 September

London Voluntary Service Council and Greater London Volunteering invite you to their first joint conference to hear from some of the key leaders of civil society in London.

The keynote address asks the question ‘What is the future of Civil Society in London’ against a background of growing inequality, and calls for more devolution.

The afternoon will also include four masterclasses on campaigning, volunteering, co-production and governance – looking at both theory and practice; and a panel discussion amongst leaders from the funding, VCS and public sector worlds will give you the opportunity to hear how they see the future.

Discussions will also look ahead to the Mayoral Election and give you the opportunity to feed into the debate on what support civil society needs.
